IF YOU THINK YOUR HAMSTRINGS ARE TIGHT–THINK AGAIN!

You may be making your hamstring problem worse by stretching them!

IF YOU THINK YOUR HAMSTRINGS ARE TIGHT--THINK AGAIN!

Whether you’re a runner, walker, couch potato, or desk jockey, you may have “tension” or “soreness” in the muscles on the back of your legs, commonly called the hamstrings.  Well I have news for you, the discomfort you’re dealing with, and possibly mistakenly overstretching, could actually be caused by long weak hamstrings that are being overworked and strained.

The health and fitness industry is obsessed with stretching the hamstring muscles.  But if you were to properly analyze your hamstrings for normal functional length and range of motion, you may be surprised.  In my twenty six years of experience, I have evaluated tens of thousands of patients for hamstring flexibility, and in fact only about 30 – 40 percent of those examined have short hamstrings that require stretching.

You need to understand that one of two general things will happen to any of the muscles in your body.  Either they get short and tight, or long and weak, in either case the muscles can be sore and painful.  You want to stretch the short and tight muscles and you want to strengthen and shorten the weak ones.  But if you stretch an already long and weak muscle, you’re going to make matters worse. So what do you do??????  If you want the very simple answer I will email you the simple self-test for FREE!!!  What you really need is to have me evaluate you and prescribe specific exercises to correct your problem.
